Driver Charred To Death As Car Catches Fire In Paradip

Bhubaneswar: A driver was burnt alive after the car he was driving caught fire in Paradip late Tuesday night. The vehicle was completely reduced to ashes by the time firefighters reached the spot and extinguished the flames.

As per reports, locals spotted the car engulfed in flames near Hatitanki on the outskirts of Paradip City and immediately informed the fire department. Firefighters rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze. However, the driver, who was trapped inside the vehicle, suffered severe burns and was declared dead.

However, no clear information is available on the identity of the driver who was inside the car, where he was headed, or how the fire broke out in the vehicle. Police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem and are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
