Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths arrested Suryamani Pattajoshi, Executive Officer of Jatni Municipality in Khordha district for possessing disproportionate assets that exceed his known sources of income.
Searches conducted at his properties revealed a staggering array of assets, including four high-value flats in Bhubaneswar, two multi-storied buildings in Berhampur, 11 plots of land, gold ornaments weighing approximately 475 grams, cash amounting to Rs 17 lakhs and deposits exceeding Rs 90 lakhs.
Pattajoshi was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for these assets, prompting the Vigilance to take action.
A case has been registered against Pattajoshi under Vigilance Cell PS case No.3/2025. He will be produced before the Special Judge, Vigilance, in Bhubaneswar.
