Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave warning for several districts in Odisha, predicting a rise in temperatures from March 29.
According to IMD’s prediction for March 29, heatwave conditions are likely to prevail in one or two places over the Sambalpur and Boudh districts.
For March 30, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir and Kalahandi districts have been issued yellow warnings.
“Heatwave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir and Kalahandi,” read the IMD’s prediction for March 30.
Going by IMD prediction for March 31, heatwave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Bargarh and Sundargarh.
