Bhubaneswar: Nuapada district is likely to experience light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain within the next two hours, according to the prediction of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
As per the nowcast warning issued by IMD at 12.30pm, the hailstorm is expected to bring gusty surface wind speeds of 30-40 kmph in Nuapada district. The district has been issued yellow warning.
Residents are advised to exercise caution and keep a watch on the weather. In case of an emergency, people are urged to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
