Bhubaneswar: A young man was found hanging near a cremation ground under mysterious conditions at Biribandha village near the Biju Patnaik Airport on Thursday morning.
As per reports, the deceased, identified as Jitu Behera, was a resident of the Airfield area.
According to locals, three youths had gone toward the crematorium area on a bike yesterday, but only two returned. Today morning, the body of one of the youths was found hanging near the cremation ground.
The Airfield police have launched an investigation into the incident and are trying to ascertain the cause of death.
Airfield police meanwhile seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.
