Bhubaneswar: The results of the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination, commonly known as the Class X board examination, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, are expected to be declared in the second week of May.
This was announced by BSE President Srikant Tarai on Tuesday.
“As previously mentioned, the checking of Class X exam papers commenced on March 19. While the process is progressing smoothly, we did face a brief interruption, as the checking had to be halted for three days. This delay has extended the overall timeline, but we are working diligently to ensure the results are published by the second week of May. Our goal is to avoid any inconvenience for students who are planning to pursue higher education,” said BSE President Srikant Tarai while speaking to reporters.
Tarai further assured that the Board always prioritizes the interests of students and decisions regarding the Science subjects have been made with careful consideration.
“In line with the examination committee’s decisions, students need not worry about any issues,” he added.
Tarai confirmed that the introduction of the watermark and QR code system in this year’s Class X exams has played a crucial role in safeguarding the integrity of the examination process and addressing the ongoing issue of question paper leaks.
