Coal-Laden Train Catches Fire Near Markona In Balasore

Balasore: A coal-laden train heading from Dhamra to Jamshedpur caught fire near Markona on Wednesday morning.

The train was promptly halted at Soro station after smoke was spotted emanating from two bogies.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Soro Fire Department sprang into action, dispatching a team of firefighters to the scene. The firefighters extinguished the flames, bringing the situation under control.

After the fire was successfully doused, the train resumed its journey to its destination.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
