Bhubaneswar: A youth was found brutally murdered with his throat slit in the K. Nuagaon police station area of Berhampur, Ganjam district, on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Balaram Gouda of Rampur village.
Acting on information from locals, K. Nuagaon police arrived at the scene, sent the body for a post-mortem examination, and recovered a bullet at the site, suggesting foul play.
An investigation has been launched to uncover the circumstances of the crime. Police have not yet released further details as the probe continues.
