Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday hailed ‘Operation Sindoor’ as a testament to India’s zero-tolerance approach to terrorism under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Commending the Indian armed forces for their swift and decisive action against terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Majhi said the nation stands firmly behind its brave soldiers.
“Sindoor is not just a cultural symbol—it represents India’s tradition, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve,” he stated. “Our soldiers have once again upheld that resolve with honour.”
The Chief Minister said Operation Sindoor was a direct response to national outrage following the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians.
“India’s brave soldiers have delivered a befitting reply. The operation has eliminated the terrorists and destroyed their bases. This is a moment of great national pride,” Majhi said, adding that the operation had earned India global recognition for its bold stance on terrorism.
Reiterating the government’s commitment to national security, he said, “There will be no tolerance for terrorism. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India will continue to take strong and decisive steps. We are ready to lead the global fight against terrorism.”
