Odia Students Studying In Jammu Varsity To Reach Bhubaneswar Tomorrow; Helpline Issued

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has initiated measures to safely bring back 114 students from Central Sanskrit University in Jammu due to the emergency situation amid India-Pakistan tensions. The state government aims to bring the students back to Odisha safely by tomorrow.

A special team, comprising four senior officers and 16 support staff from the Directorate of Odisha Parivaar and officers from the Office of the Chief Resident Commissioner, Government of Odisha, New Delhi, has been assigned to ensure the students’ safe return.

To facilitate this, two 24-hour control rooms have been set up:

  1. Odisha Nivas, Delhi: 7428135044, 011-24679201
  2. Sanskriti Bhawan, Bhubaneswar: 0674-2431945, 9583321964

Students and guardians can contact these control rooms for assistance. The state government is working to provide all necessary facilities and support.
