Bhubaneswar: Attabira Police on Sunday arrested two persons and seized 120.67 kilograms of ganja while it was being smuggled to Chhattisgarh.
The accused have been identified as Bobby Khan, a resident of Uttar Pradesh and Sujit Sahoo of Larasara village under Dhama police station limits in Sambalpur district.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team intercepted a vehicle near Attabira and recovered the contraband. Along with the ganja, police seized an i20 car, two mobile phones, and Rs 4,200 in cash. Both accused were taken into custody and later forwarded to court.
The case has been registered under Attabira Police Station Case No. 182/25 and further investigation is underway.
