Bhubaneswar: Odisha is enduring extreme heat once again, with 19 places across the state recording temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius and above today.
As per the evening weather bulletin from the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, Sambalpur emerged as the hottest location in the state on Sunday, registering a maximum temperature of 43.2°C. This was followed closely by Titlagarh, which recorded a temperature of 42.5°C, and Bolangir at 42°C.
Several other regions also saw temperatures soaring above 40°C, including Sundargarh at 41.8°C, Angul at 41.7°C, and both Jharsuguda and Hirakud, each reporting 41.6°C.
