Bhubaneswar: A tri-colour bike rally was organised today at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar to celebrate the success of the anti-terror operation, Operation Sindoor. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi was the chief guest at the event, where he flagged off the bike rally.
As per a release issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the rally started at 8 am from Kalinga Stadium and proceeded up to Raj Bhavan. Police personnel, security forces, public representatives, and citizens participated in the rally, riding bikes adorned with the tricolour flags and chanting ‘Bande Utkal Janani’ as they traversed the city.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said in his address that the tri-colour bike rally, following the success of Operation Sindoor, will further strengthen the country’s campaign against terrorism. He emphasised that when all Indians, regardless of caste or religion, come together under the tricolour, no force can succeed against us. The three colours of the tricolour inspire us with the ideals of faith and harmony. Our national flag is a symbol of our resolve, struggle, sacrifice, and the spirit of renunciation.
The Chief Minister recalled his participation in a similar tricolour rally on August 14 last year, where he was inspired by the enthusiasm of the people. He said that today’s event, celebrating the success of Operation Sindoor, evoked a similar atmosphere. He attributed the operation’s success to the determination of the mothers and sisters of the nation and the bravery of the soldiers who upheld the dignity of Sindoor. He extended his heartfelt respects and admiration to the brave soldiers of the nation.
The Chief Minister further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all Indians are safe. He highlighted that PM Modi believes that for Indians to live in peace and security, India needs to be strong, and if necessary, demonstrate its strength, as proven in Operation Sindoor. He emphasised PM Modi’s firm stance that India will not be intimidated by nuclear blackmail, a message that resonates globally. He concluded that the Indian armed forces are fully prepared to respond appropriately to every challenge posed by enemies.
Several ministers attended the event, including Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Narayan Naik, School & Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond and Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling.
