Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous searches at eight locations linked to Susanta Kumar Sethy, Junior Engineer, R&B, Khariar, under the Nuapada R&B Division.
The search operations were launched against Sethy in Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Nuapada on charges of accumulating disproportionate assets.
The raids, led by a team of seven Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), three Inspectors, and ten Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), were carried out based on search warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge, Bhubaneswar.
The locations searched include multiple properties in Bhubaneswar, a farmhouse in Puri, and offices and residences in Nuapada.
The locations searched include:
- Triple-storeyed building at Plot No. 10, Gangotri Nagar, Lingipur
- Under-construction house at Plot No. 10/3920, Gangotri Nagar, Lingipur
- House of a relative at Brahmeswarpatna, Brit Colony
- House of an associate at Plot No. 623/B, Kedar Lane
- House of another associate at Plot No. 866, Garage Chhak, Old Town
- Farmhouse at Plot No. 749, Bilipada, Pipili
- Office chamber of Sethy at R&B Sub-Division, Nuapada
- Government quarter of Sethy at Nuapada
