Cuttack: A shocking incident occurred at the Choudwar circle Jail in Cuttack, where a prisoner serving a life sentence allegedly committed suicide.
Bishnu Prasad Swain, a resident of Samantarapur village, hanged himself from a mango tree using a towel on the jail premises.
Swain was serving a life sentence for a murder case and reportedly struggled with mental health issues. His family members have reached the jail premises and filed a complaint with the police.
