Bhadrak: A daring robbery took place at Maa Tarini Mobile Point in Bhandaripokhari Bazaar under Bhandaripokhari police station in Bhadrak district. The thieves broke into the shop by breaking the wall from behind and stole around 400 mobile phones, including 8 iPhones and several expensive models.

The robbers threw away the mobile chargers and covers after stealing the phones and took one hard disk of the shop’s CCTV system. However, the police were able to recover the other hard disk, which may provide crucial evidence.

A dog squad from Bhadrak was called to the scene, and they tracked a person to a nearby building. The police have detained the individual, who was chased by the sniffer dog.

The shop owner reported that the stolen mobiles included several high-end models, and the loss is significant. The police are investigating the incident and trying to recover the stolen phones. The robbery has raised concerns about the security of businesses in the area, especially given the shop’s proximity to the police station.
