Bhubaneswar: Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari on Tuesday announced stringent measures against officials involved in irregularities concerning part plot sales.

Speaking to reporters, Pujari revealed that show-cause notices have been served to 300 officers connected to the preparation of the District Survey Report (DSR). Several officers implicated in these malpractices have already been arrested and are in custody.

Pujari highlighted that smart surveillance at DSR offices is driving ongoing efforts to eliminate corrupt practices.

He also disclosed plans for enhanced transparency in land sales, developed in collaboration with the Electronics and Information Technology Department.

Additionally, the State Government will soon hold a workshop for DSR preparation officers, following a similar training session for Tahsildars.
