Cuttack: In a heart-touching incident today near Telengapentha, H&UD Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra demonstrated a rare act of humanity and compassion.
A family of four—Ananta Kumar Sahu, his wife, and their two children—met with a tragic accident at the roadside. Coincidentally, Mahapatra was passing through the area. Upon witnessing the grievous scene, the Minister immediately halted his convoy and personally oversaw the rescue efforts.
He arranged for the victims to be swiftly transported to the nearest hospital using one of his escort vehicles.
Mahapatra also instructed the attending officials and hospital authorities to ensure the injured received immediate and proper medical attention.
This timely intervention by the Minister not only saved precious lives but also reflected his deep sense of empathy and public service.
