Bhubaneswar: In response to a tragic incident in Bhadrak’s Tihidi police station area, where a clash between two communities led to the death of Santosh Parida, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced comprehensive support for the deceased’s family. Parida succumbed to injuries while receiving medical treatment following the altercation.
On Thursday, the Chief Minister declared that the state government would fully cover the educational expenses of Parida’s children, ensuring their academic future is secure. This announcement follows earlier measures outlined on Wednesday, where Majhi promised swift and exemplary action against those responsible for the violence. Additionally, the government committed to providing ₹10 lakh in financial aid from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Parida’s immediate family and a job for one family member to support their livelihood.
The initiatives reflect the state government’s commitment to supporting families affected by such tragedies and maintaining law and order in the region. Authorities have been directed to ensure justice is served, and the financial and employment assistance aims to provide long-term stability to the bereaved family.
