Bhubaneswar: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee today met Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati at Raj Bhavan and extended an invitation for the upcoming holy Ratha Yatra in Puri.
The Governor accepted the invitation and expressed his enthusiasm to participate in the divine event.
Governor Dr. Kambhampati stated that Rath Yatra is a shining symbol of Odisha’s rich religious and cultural heritage, attracting lakhs of devotees who celebrate the occasion with devotion, faith, and enthusiasm.
“Ratha Yatra is a shining symbol of Odisha’s religious and cultural heritage. On this occasion, lakhs of devotees gather to celebrate the divine event of Mahaprabhu Jagannath with devotion, faith and enthusiasm. I am looking forward to participating in this holy occasion,” the Governor stated.
The annual Rath Yatra is scheduled to take place on June 27 this year. Preparations for the festival are in full swing, with chariot construction works progressing rapidly. The event is expected to draw a large number of devotees.
