Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) will launch ‘All Odisha Student Strike’ on June 25, calling upon students to boycott classes and stage protests across the state.
BJD MLA Debi Ranjan Tripathy informed the media in this regard.
He said the strike aims to highlight concerns over women’s safety in Odisha, citing over 3,000 registered cases of crimes against women in the past year. During the strike, students are expected to wear black badges and engage in picketing. The BJD’s call for action seeks to draw attention to the issue and push for measures to ensure women’s safety across the state.
