Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, and senior Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Tuesday extended their best wishes for a speedy recovery to former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik.
Prime Minister Modi personally spoke with Patnaik to inquire about his health and conveyed his hopes for a swift and full recovery.
Similarly, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin took to his X handle to share his wishes. He tweeted, “Spoke to Dr. Rajasekar from Coimbatore, who treated former Chief Minister of Odisha Thiru. @Naveen_Odisha at a hospital in Mumbai. Glad to hear from him that Thiru. Naveen Patnaik is doing well. I wish him a fast and complete recovery, and continued good health.”

Congress veteran Shashi Tharoor expressed his concern and relief on social media.
“Conderned to hear from friends that @Naveen_Odisha has just undergone surgery, but relieved that he is now doing well. Wish him a speedy and complete recovery!” he wrote.

A delegation of senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) women leaders, including MP Sulata Deo and senior leader Snehangini Chhuria, visited Patnaik at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai today.
Patnaik has been undergoing treatment for cervical arthritis since June 22, under the care of his personal doctor, Dr. Ramakant Panda.
