Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance Directorate unearthed substantial assets linked to Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Susil Kumar Panda of Ganjam Block during raids, following allegations of possessing disproportionate assets beyond his known income. Simultaneous searches were conducted at seven locations in Ganjam and Puri districts.
Unearthed Assets:
- One triple-storeyed building (approx. 4620 Sqft.) at Ram Hari Nagar, Berhampur
- 2-BHK flat (approx. 700 Sqft.) at Mukteswar Apartment, Ankuli, Berhampur
- 1-BHK flat (approx. 600 Sqft.) at Puri
- Six high-value plots in Bhubaneswar, Khordha, and Berhampur
- Cash: Rs. 2,05,000
- One four-wheeler (Mahindra KUV) and two two-wheelers
- Bank and other deposits, investments being ascertained
- One bank locker at Central Cooperative Bank, Berhampur, jointly held by Panda and his spouse, still to be opened
The measurement and valuation of the assets are being carried out by the Vigilance Technical Wing. Further investigation is underway.
