Bhubaneswar: A training session for teachers of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) and Higher Secondary Schools under the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) was inaugurated by Smita Rout, State Project Director of OAVS, on July 5 at ICONIC OAV, Andharua, Bhubaneswar. The programme was attended by senior officers from both directorates.
During the session, 107 teachers received hands-on training on AI-based Flexi Tutor, a tool designed for both teachers and students, from resource persons Amit Gupta and Neha Khandelwal of the CK-12 Foundation. The training is part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the School and Mass Education Department, the Government of Odisha, and the CK-12 Foundation.
As per the agreement, the program will be implemented this year for Science subjects in OAVs and for Physics and Mathematics in Higher Secondary Schools. The training aims to equip teachers with innovative tools and methodologies to enhance the learning experience for students.
