Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain Likely In Odisha Districts Over Next Two Days: IMD

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warnings for several districts in Odisha, forecasting thunderstorms, lightning, and heavy rainfall over the next two days, July 29 and 30.

Going by IMD prediction for July 29, thunderstorms with lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Gajapati. These districts have been issued yellow warnings.
