Rayagada: In a significant development in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) question paper leak case, the Crime Branch has detained a teacher from Ambadala village in Muniguda block, Rayagada district.

The arrest follows the cancellation of the OTET examination, which was called off recently after the paper was leaked ahead of time.

Sources confirmed that Bijay Mishra, president of the Rayagada District Ex-Cadre Teachers’ Association and a teacher at Dangarabari Primary School, has been taken into custody for his alleged involvement in the leak. Acting on leads from the ongoing investigation, the Crime Branch, with assistance from local police, apprehended Mishra earlier today.

However, officials have not disclosed Mishra’s current whereabouts or the details of his interrogation.
