Bhubaneswar: A young girl allegedly hanged herself from a fan at her home at Nadikulasahi under Chauliaganj police station in Cuttack on Thursday.
The reason behind the suicide remains unclear, but it is suspected that the young girl might have taken her own life due to blackmailing. This suspicion arises from the fact that a video of the girl had gone viral before the incident.
Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the scene, seized the body, and sent it for an autopsy. Police have also seized her mobile phone.
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
