Bhubaneswar: The Jagannath Temple Police (JTP) caught a person while attempting to climb the Jagannath Temple wall in Puri on Saturday.
Hailing from Bihar, he was apprehended by the JTP by the time he had managed to climb 5-7 feet up the temple wall near the Bherana Dwara.
According to reports, the man had come to the temple for darshan and suddenly attempted to scale the temple wall via the southern side. The JTP acted swiftly to catch him and later handed him over to the Singhadwar police station.
It is learnt that the man’s mental state is reportedly unstable, and the police are conducting further investigation into the incident.
