Bhubaneswar: The Phase-II e-Admission process for Class XI against vacant seats in Arts, Science, Commerce, Upashastri, and Vocational streams in Higher Secondary Schools (HSSs) affiliated with the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, and Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri, is set to begin on August 25, 2025.
Candidates can apply online through the official SAMS portal at www.samsodisha.gov.in. The last date for submission of the Common Application Form (CAF) is August 31, 2025, by 11.45 pm.
The entire admission process for the academic session 2025-26 will be conducted online.
As per the official notification, only candidates who have passed the HSC exam from BSE Odisha or an equivalent board are eligible to apply. It is also clarified that no reservation or weightage claims will be entertained for admission against vacant seats.
Applicants and their guardians are advised to carefully read the ‘Common Prospectus’ available on the SAMS portal before submitting their applications.
Candidates admitted to their first-choice HSS during Phase-II 1st selection will not be eligible for the Phase-II SPOT selection.
Those admitted to lower preferences, not admitted, or needing to correct errors, along with non-selected candidates, will have the chance to revise their choices during the SPOT selection process.
Selected candidates are required to report at their respective schools from September 6 to September 10, 2025, for admission formalities.
