Bhubaneswar: Former Australian pace spearhead Brett Lee and former India cricketer Debashish Mohanty have been appointed brand ambassadors for the upcoming Odisha Pro T20 League 2025.

The decision was finalised during the Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) held in Puri on Sunday.

The tournament, featuring six franchise-based teams, is scheduled to take place from September 15 to 24, with two matches slated per day. The league will be organised jointly by the OCA and Arivaa Sports, a sports event management firm.

All matches will be telecast live on ‘Star Sports’ and will be live-streamed on FanCode (OTT platform).

OCA officials further announced that the players’ draft will be conducted in the coming days, enabling franchises to build their respective squads. A grand opening ceremony is also planned to mark the commencement of the league.

The meeting was presided over by OCA President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, and attended by Vice President Jagamohan Pattnaik, Secretary Sanjay Behera, Joint Secretary Prabhat Bhol, Treasurer Bikash Pradhan, and Apex Council Member Pratap Chandra Pradhan, among others.
