Youth Killed In Bike Mishap On Biju Expressway In Sundargarh

Sundargarh: A 25-year-old youth was killed in a road mishap on the Biju Expressway near Telighana bus stand under Kutra police station limits in Sundargarh district on Wednesday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Binay Pradhan, a resident of Nuadihi village in Sundargarh district.

According to reports, the accident occurred around 6 p.m. when Pradhan, who was riding his motorbike from Sundargarh towards Kutra, lost control of the vehicle near Telighana and fell on the road.

Police personnel reached the spot immediately and rushed him to the Kutra Community Health Centre. However, despite medical efforts, doctors declared him dead soon after admission.

Kutra police have registered a case and begun an investigation into the incident.
