New Delhi: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday met BJP National President and Union Health & Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda in the national capital to discuss the state’s healthcare priorities and future roadmap.
Odisha Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling was also present during the meeting. According to the Chief Minister, the discussions revolved around the state government’s people-centric healthcare initiatives, strengthening of health services, expansion of medical infrastructure, and collaborative efforts to ensure accessible and affordable healthcare for citizens.
Majhi described the interaction as an “insightful” engagement, underscoring the state government’s commitment to improving the healthcare delivery system and shaping a robust future roadmap in partnership with the Union government.
The meeting comes at a time when the Odisha government has been focusing on upgrading district hospitals, expanding medical education facilities, and strengthening public health infrastructure across the state.
