Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to lay the foundation stone for 27 significant industrial projects across the state on September 15 (Monday). The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at Krushi Sikhsha Sadan, OUAT, Bhubaneswar, starting at 10 am.
According to Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, these projects will be spread over 12 districts, including Jharsuguda, Ganjam, Khordha, Koraput, Angul, Sundargarh, Bhadrak, Puri, Cuttack, and Sambalpur.
The collective investment for these initiatives amounts to Rs 25,379.34 crore, with the potential to generate approximately 52,000 employment opportunities.
Minister Swain highlighted the significance of the event, stating, “Odisha is ready to enter a new era of industrial growth. These projects mark a major step towards inclusive growth and economic transformation in the state.”
The foundation laying ceremony is expected to catalyze Odisha’s industrial development, boosting the economy and providing new avenues for job creation.
