Koraput: In a rare occurrence, an Ornate Flying Snake was rescued in Jeypore today.
According to reports, the Wild Animal Rescue Team for Environmental Awareness & Management (WARTEAM), led by founder Krushna Keshab Shadangi, received a call about the presence of a snake in a Goudasahi resident’s bathroom.
The team, along with Krushna and his associate Chandan Bhimidi, identified the snake and safely rescued it. Later, under the supervision of senior officials from the Jeypore Forest Division, the snake was released into a nearby safe area.
