Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government is all set to mark the first anniversary of the Subhadra Yojana on September 17, 2025, with a special “Thank You Modi” campaign across the state.
The initiative aims to express gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi while showcasing the scheme’s positive impact on women and children across Odisha.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced that the campaign will be held in all 338 Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) units throughout Odisha. Beneficiaries of the Subhadra Yojana will share their success stories and experiences, highlighting how the program has transformed their lives.
The anniversary celebrations will coincide with the launch of ‘Poshan Maah’ (Nutrition Month) at the Anganwadi center level starting September 17. This integration will encourage beneficiaries to participate in nutrition awareness activities, discuss the benefits of the scheme, and promote better health practices.
At Community Health Centers, the government will organise “Healthy Women, Empowered Families” programs featuring Subhadra stalls. Staff at these stalls will provide detailed information about the scheme, distribute pamphlets, and answer queries to increase awareness among the public.
The Women and Child Development Department emphasised that the main objective of these initiatives is to highlight the significant achievements of the Subhadra Yojana and to encourage greater public participation across Odisha.
With a focus on empowerment and nutrition, the government hopes these celebrations will reinforce community engagement and sustain the positive momentum of the Subhadra Yojana in the years to come.
