Bhubaneswar: A tourist was rescued from drowning in the sea on Puri beach near Sector 9, on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, Bikash Nayak, a visitor from Keonjhar, got caught in a rip current while bathing in the sea. However, thanks to lifeguards, Bikash was pulled to safety and provided with first aid.
The tourists present at the scene have heaped praise on the lifeguards for saving the visitor’s life from the jaws of death.
