Bhubaneswar: A tragic incident occurred near Puthiyangadi harbour in Kannur of Kerala, where four migrant workers from Odisha suffered burns in a fire accident. The incident happened on Friday morning when the workers were trying to cook food in their room.
According to the police, the fire broke out around 6:30 am due to a gas leak from a cooking cylinder. The workers, who were natives of Balipatapur in Khurdha district of Odisha, were rushed to the Government Medical College Pariyaram in Kannur for treatment.
The injured workers have been identified as Siba Behera, Subas Behera, and another individual from the same locality.
