2 Minor Boys Missing In Kathajodi River, Search Operations On

Bhubaneswar: Two minor boys, aged around 11 to 12 years, went missing while bathing in the Kathajodi River near Kulasarichuan village in Bayalis Mouza of Cuttack district, on Sunday afternoon.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 1 pm when the boys entered the river to take a bath. They were reportedly swept away by a strong current and have not been located since.

Local residents, witnessing the incident, immediately alerted the police and fire services. A rescue team from the Chauliaganj fire station was deployed and an intensive search operation was launched.

As of the time of filing this report, both minors remain untraced. Rescue efforts are continuing.
