Puri: In a tragic incident, two persons — a man and a woman — died of electrocution at Maa Dakshina Kali peeth in Biragobindapur village under Satyabadi block in Puri district late Sunday night.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 12 AM when the duo, who were near the stage, accidentally came in contact with an electric wire, resulting in severe injuries. Preliminary reports suggest the electrocution may have occurred due to negligence or a short circuit during the event.
