Bhubaneswar: On United Nations Day, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi paid tribute to the UN’s eight decades of work for world peace, unity and collective participation.
Taking to his X handle, Majhi called upon citizens to renew their resolve for a peaceful, just and prosperous world, urging collective commitment to the ideals enshrined by the global body.
He wrote: “Today, on the occasion of United Nations Day, we honor and respectfully remember the 80 years of efforts and endeavours of the United Nations for world peace, unity, and collective participation. On this day, let us commit to our collective resolve towards building a peaceful, just, and prosperous world.”
The CM’s remarks come as the state continues to align its development agenda with national and international goals, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047.
