Bhubaneswar: In preparation for the impending cyclonic storm Mocha, two teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDFR) personnel have left for Koraput from Cuttack’s 3rd Battalion. Each team consists of 35 personnel, equipped with necessary equipment to tackle any situation.
According to reports, the teams departed early today and will be stationed in Koraput to provide assistance and support during the cyclone. After the cyclone makes landfall, the teams will begin their rescue operations, clearing roads blocked by fallen trees and providing assistance to affected areas.
It is pertinent to mention that the 3rd Battalion of NDRF is known for its expertise in rescue operations and has a proven track record of handling challenging situations. The personnel are well-trained and equipped to face any situation and provide assistance to those in need.
The deployment of NDRF teams is part of the state’s efforts to prepare for the cyclone and minimize its impact on the affected areas. The teams will work closely with local district administration to provide assistance and support to those affected by the cyclone.
