Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for 16 districts in Odisha, predicting light to moderate rain or thundershowers with lightning and gusty surface winds of 30-40 kmph over the next three hours.
According to the nowcast warning issued at 10:30am, the affected districts include Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Puri, Kendrapara, Malkangiri, Koraput, Ganjam, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Balasore, Dhenkanal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, and Jagatsinghpur.
Residents are advised to stay vigilant and keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions.
