CM Majhi Congratulates Team India On ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 Final Berth

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated the Indian women’s cricket team on their historic victory over Australia, securing a spot in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 finals.

He noted the remarkable feat of the team’s successful run chase, which is one of the highest in women’s ODI cricket history. Majhi praised the team’s performance and spirit, saying they have made the nation proud.

He concluded by wishing the team success in the finals and bringing home the World Cup trophy.

“Congratulations Team India. A historic moment for the nation as our women’s cricket team, @BCCIWomen, enters the ICC #WomensWorldCup2025 finals with a magnificent victory over Australia, scripting one of the highest successful run chases in the history of women’s ODI cricket. Your exceptional performance and team spirit have made the entire nation proud. Wishing you grand success in bringing home the World Cup trophy”, read the CM’s tweet.

It is pertinent to mention that the Women’s World Cup 2025 finals will see India take on South Africa on November 2, and the nation is eagerly awaiting the outcome. The team’s journey to the finals has been marked by exceptional performances, and they are poised to make history in the championship match.
