Bhubaneswar: A massive 12-foot-long King Cobra was rescued from a residential property at Baunsapala village under Soro police limits in Balasore district on Tuesday.
According to reports, the cobra was stuck in a net kept at the outside the house of Surendra Samal, a local resident. Locals spotted the snake trapped in the net and informed the forest department officials.
Following the instruction of Ranger Harihar Majhi, forest guards Phulmani Murmu, snake rescuer Debendra Rout, and Trilochan Mahalik reached the spot and successfully rescued the enormous cobra. The team later released it safely in the Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary.
