Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s helicopter underwent thorough inspections during his visit to Nuapada district on Thursday, ahead of the bypoll. The inspections were conducted by teams from the flying squad and video surveillance unit to ensure compliance with election guidelines.
The inspections are part of routine pre-election monitoring, aiming to oversee the movement of political leaders during campaigning. Similar checks were carried out on the aircraft of Chhattisgarh CM Vishnudeo Sai, who also visited Nuapada for election campaigning.
Earlier, opposition leader Naveen Patnaik and BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda’s aircraft were also inspected. The district administration is committed to ensuring transparency and adherence to election norms, maintaining a fair and monitored campaign environment.
The inspections follow Election Commission guidelines on monitoring candidate and leader movement during election campaigns, aiming to ensure compliance with election laws.
