Bhubaneswar: Renowned spiritual leader and founder of The Art of Living, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar delivered an inspiring talk on ‘Spirituality in Vikshit Odisha, Ethics in Governance’ at Convention Centre, Lokseva Bhawan Bhubaneswar today. The session, attended by senior officials of the Government of Odisha, emphasized the importance of spirituality and ethical values in building a progressive and harmonious society.
Addressing the gathering, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar spoke about the role of meditation in managing stress, enhancing emotional balance and improving efficiency in professional life. He highlighted how spiritual awareness and ethical governance together contribute to the vision of Vikshit Odisha — a developed and inclusive state built on integrity, compassion, and collective well-being.
Following his address, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar led the officers through a guided meditation session, offering them a firsthand experience of inner peace and mental clarity amidst their demanding administrative responsibilities.
The event was graced by Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary, Anu Garg, who delivered the welcome address and emphasized the need for integrating mindfulness and value-based approaches in governance. Senior officials from various government departments and representatives from Sri Sri University also attended the programme.
