Bhubaneswar: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Retailers Association of India (RAI) to enhance retail education, skill development, and research through industry-academia collaboration.
The partnership aims to create a dynamic learning platform for students to gain hands-on experience and develop skills aligned with industry needs. IIM Sambalpur will receive academic membership from RAI, accessing its industry network and collaborative opportunities.
The collaboration will provide students and faculty with exposure to emerging trends and best practices in retail through events like the Retail Leadership Summit and ReTechCon. RAI will also support IIM Sambalpur’s Annual Retail Conclave and facilitate international exposure for students and faculty.
“This partnership marks a new era in management education, focused on nurturing skilled and innovation-driven industry leaders,” said Prof Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director, IIM Sambalpur.
