Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida will leave for New Delhi today to attend the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF), where she will inaugurate the Odisha Pavilion at Bharat Mandapam. The theme for this year’s fair is- Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat.
According to reports, the 14-day trade fair, scheduled to be held from November 14 to 27, is expected to draw nearly 60,000 visitors daily, prompting multi-layered checks, enhanced surveillance and traffic restrictions around the venue.
This annual India International Trade Fair also showcases Odisha’s rich heritage, art, culture, and traditions, highlighting the state’s contribution to the country’s growth.
Parida will also visit Bengaluru on November 15 for a two-day trip, where she will participate in the ‘Odisha Parba’ event organized by the Odisha Tourism Department. This event aims to promote Odisha’s tourism and cultural heritage.
