Bhubaneswar: Popular Odia playback singer Humane Sagar, currently battling for life at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Bhubaneswar, has shown slight improvement, with his senses responding to stimuli, according to the latest health bulletin published by the hospital authorities on Monday.
According to doctors, he is responding to simple commands, moving his eyes, and nodding his head, sparking new hope among his fans and well-wishers.
The singer, admitted to AIIMS on November 14, is suffering from acute chronic liver failure, multi-organ dysfunction syndrome, and bilateral pneumonia. Despite being on ventilator support, his condition is being closely monitored by a team of specialists led by Dr Srikant Behera, an ECMO specialist.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed concern over Sagar’s health, assuring the singer’s family that everything possible is being done to ensure his recovery. Opposition leader Naveen Patnaik has also prayed for Sagar’s swift recovery.
Fans and music enthusiasts are praying for Sagar’s speedy recovery, hoping he will soon return to his music and fans.
