Bhubaneswar: Satyajit Das, a private college student from Khordha, was found unconscious at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, 16 days after he went missing from a birthday party in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, Satyajit had attended the party with friends at a café under Bharatpur police limits on November 1. He, however, did not return home. Despite his family’s efforts to contact him, Satyajit’s phone was switched off, and he hasn’t been heard from since.
His family had filed a missing person complaint with Khurda Town Police, and CCTV footage confirmed his presence at the café.
The family is in shock after finding the youth in a critical condition 16 days after his disappearance. Satyajit Das is currently undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. The circumstances surrounding his injuries are unclear, and it’s uncertain how he ended up in this state.
It is learnt that Satyajit’s condition remains critical, and police are awaiting his statement to uncover the truth.
